Speed and Strength Training for Athletes

olympic-lifting-njMonmouth Regional High School football player Matt Orrico trains with Eddie Albert, owner of Ultimate Fit Zone and long time fitness expert to increase his strength and explosive power as well as improve his speed, balance and coordination.  The Olympic Lifting program at the Monmouth County cross training facility has attracted a number of athletes of all different sports that are looking for different ways increase their skills.

The strength and speed program incorporates a few different training methods that include Power and Olympic lifting, plyometrics, gymnastic moves and others to hone in on an athletes ability to maximize their power and skills on the field, court and ice.

Incorporating Olympic lifting into an athlete’s training program helps to improve their dynamic mobility, an excellent way to increase an athlete’s range of motion and increase sporting proficiency.  The program prepares athletes for a wide range of random movements, similar to what they could potentially face during a game.

Power, Speed and Agility Training

strength-training-njMatt is a high school athlete participating in our Olympic Lift training program in Monmouth County NJ with Eddie.  He plays football and is using the Olympic Lift training to increase his explosive power, overall strength and speed.  Olympic Lifting can accelerate an athletes improvement on many fronts.  Unlike isolated lift movements (bicep curls, tricep push downs, leg extension, etc), Olympic lifting conditions the muscles to work together in multiple planes of movement as they do in sports activity. The lifts learned in our training sessions will activate nearly all muscles at some point in the movement making the exercises more closely related to how athletes will need to perform on the field, on the court or on the ice.

Speed And Agility Fun!

When it’s too hot to practice sports training outside, the littlest Jersey Shore athletes come to Ultimate Fit Zone for some indoor fun and skill training.  Our Monmouth County speed & agility program is tailored to your group of athletes and customizable to all ages and fitness level.  Our 3,000 square foot facility lined with real turf creates a fun and challenging environment to hone their athletic skills.

This is a great program to supplement ANY sport. The Speed and Agility training at UFZ in Ocean Twp (Monmouth County) can be conducted as an individual session or in groups. Speed & Agility Training Starts at $15 per athlete in groups of 3 or more.
