Eddie will review proper form, technique and tips for various olympic lifts (of your choice if you are setting a one-on-one personal training appointment with him) and help you achieve greater personal records.

This training is excellent for cross trainers and CrossFit athletes alike.  Sports athletes will also find it very beneficial to learn the proper form and technique for different exercises.  This will help all athletes improve their performance and reach higher goals.

A little about Eddie:

Eddie is from Monmouth County, NJ where he began his career in bodybuilding and fitness in the late 1980s.  He started as bodybuilder, competed and won the title of Mr. New Jersey before putting his own ambitions on the side to help others. He is actively involved in CrossFit, continues to be a personal trainer and coach for individuals of all fitness levels including athletes at all different stages in their athletic career.

Eddie’s expertise in body building, personal training and CrossFit training makes him one of the most sought out personal trainers in New Jersey.

Eddie is the owner of Ultimate Fitness, a 24 hour gym in Monmouth County, as well as the owner of Ultimate Fit Zone and creator of ZONE 360 boot camp, a cross training fitness program that combines his expertise in the above mentioned training regimens.

 

Speed and Strength Training for Athletes

The strength and speed program incorporates a few different training methods that include Power and Olympic lifting, plyometrics, gymnastic moves and others to hone in on an athletes ability to maximize their power and skills on the field, court and ice.

Incorporating Olympic lifting into an athlete’s training program helps to improve their dynamic mobility, an excellent way to increase an athlete’s range of motion and increase sporting proficiency.  The program prepares athletes for a wide range of random movements, similar to what they could potentially face during a game.

Olympic Lifting Is Great Sports Training For NJ Athletes

Olympic Lifting NJ | Sports Training Monmouth CountyNJ high school athletes are stepping up their sports training from the typical speed and agility work to more intense, functional strength training found in our Olympic Lifting program.

The training found in our Olympic lifting training program for NJ athletes more closely mimics the experiences they will face on the field, on the matt or on the court.  Power and Olympic lifting conditions the muscles to work together in multiple planes of movement and trains athletes to be able to transfer force with speed, precision and form. The lifts learned in our training sessions will activate nearly all muscles at some point in the movement making these types of exercises much more similar to sports activity.

Our Olympic Lifting program at Ultimate Fit Zone in Monmouth County, NJ also integrates powerlifting moves, gymnastic exercises (pull-ups, muscle-ups, toes-to-bar, etc), flexibility training, balance, coordination and more. Olympic lifts will encourage discipline when training, a skill that is required by any individual wanting to achieve the maximum results from their weight and sports training.

These sports training sessions are currently held every Monday @ 4pm, Tuesdays @ 7:30pm and Saturdays @ 11:30am.
