Paleo Banana Bread Protein Smoothie

After an intense cross training boot camp session at UFZ in Monmouth County, your body needs protein to refuel and recover.  The Paleo banana bread protein smoothie is one of our favorites because not only does it give us a dose of 30 grams of all natural, organic, NON GMO and hormone free protein, but it also tastes delicious!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1  cup water
  • 1 serving IDLife organic, hormone free Vanilla protein powder
  • 1 frozen banana, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (or more depending on your taste)

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients in high speed blender and blend until smooth.  Adjust nutmeg to desired taste.
